After
Christmas on the beach here in Australia, it's goodbye
to the snakes and spiders and getting
on a plane again... looking forward to catching up with

Singer-Songwriter Festival with my Aussie band. Check
the gigs page for dates and if you're around, come down
and see us - we'll have copies of the new album with
us. Wishing you a very happy new year.

Having swept out the shack and evicted the odd
snake, it's back to work in the studio recording
Album 2 (as it's fondly known). Great to be back
in Australia despite the threat from city politicians
of a huge dam in our valley (see www.savethemaryriver.com).
We've got 4 months here to finish the new album
before we head back overseas to the UK in January.
In the meantime, Emily and band will be doing
some gigs in Australia... if you want to know
where and when, keep checking the gigs page or
join her mailing list. |

Leicester, Liverpool and Leeds. Started off at

stepping into some pretty big shoes at The Cavern
in Liverpool.
Thanks to Jack from Vibrations
for a classic pub gig in Leeds, Rick Alan for
pints and pics in Liverpool, and big love to our
friends in Sheffield for putting us up - check

Started
work on Emily's second album, recording the rhythm tracks
for 14 new songs with drummer Shane Nesic and bass player/producer
Christian Dunham. Great to be back at Pix Vane-Mason's
studio in the forest at Connondale where we recorded
the debut album 'Stranger Place' (see our original photo-diary
for pics). Very exciting times for us all with the UK
tour coming up in May and a trip to New York planned
for June. We'll keep you posted...
Find out what's really going on behind the scenes in
Australia (with revelations of life in a shack made
of wood, tin and potato sacks!) - read
