“EXQUISITE” (UNCUT MAGAZINE)

With seven albums and five books to her name, independent British singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, composer and poet Emily Maguire has had 3 singles playlisted on Radio 2, toured the UK extensively with the likes of American legend Don McLean and been interviewed on Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour, Front Row, Midweek and numerous regional BBC Radio stations.

“MUSIC FOR THE SOUL” (MAVERICK MAGAZINE)

Now separated from her Australian husband and musical partner Christian Dunham with whom she toured for 20 years playing every kind of venue from folk clubs, arts centres and theatres to the acoustic stage at Glastonbury Festival and concert halls including the Royal Albert Hall, Emily is now performing intimate concerts around the UK.

“A CLASS ACT” (THE MIRROR)

Open about her struggles with bipolar disorder, Emily’s experience of mental health recovery has strongly influenced her songwriting. With thought-provoking lyrics, an expressive voice and songs ‘bathed in raw, emotional power’ (Guitarist Magazine), Emily’s music is a hauntingly beautiful and moving experience not to be missed.

“EXHILARATING AND TRANSFORMATIONAL” (RNR MAGAZINE)

In 2026, Emily will be performing some gigs solo with Jody Prewett as her support act, but others with violinist/viola player Sue Lord.  Sue regularly tours the UK and Europe and has played and recorded with artists such as Peter Gabriel, Newton Faulkner, The Unthanks and The Heavy.

If you would like to book Emily for your house concert or for a performance in your local village hall or venue, please get in touch.
