With six albums and three books to her name, British singer-songwriter, composer, multi-instrumentalist and poet Emily Maguire is truly ‘a talent to be reckoned with’ (RnR Magazine). With a remarkable, inspiring story to tell, she has been featured many times in interviews and playlists on BBC national radio, her thought-provoking lyrics, supremely expressive voice and spellbinding live performances winning her fans across the globe.

Since releasing her first critically acclaimed album ‘Stranger Place’ in 2004, Emily has toured the UK extensively with her husband, Australian producer and bass player Christian Dunham. Together they have played a huge range of venues from major concert halls including the Royal Albert Hall with American legend Don McLean, regional theatres with Eric Bibb and Dr Hook, Emily’s own shows in arts centres across the country, and most recently intimate acoustic performances in bookshops and Buddhist centres promoting Emily’s latest book of poetry ‘Meditation Mind’. In Australia, Emily’s songs have been played many times on ABC radio stations with the title track of her second album ‘Keep Walking’ playlisted on national ABC Radio.

Open about her struggles with bipolar disorder, Emily’s experience of mental health recovery  and her practice of Buddhist meditation over the past 20 years have strongly influenced her songwriting. With songs ‘bathed in raw, emotional power’ (Guitarist Magazine), her music is a hauntingly beautiful and profoundly moving experience not to be missed.
