Whenever I’m feeling really down and thinking I should give up being a singer-songwriter, I will read messages like these two amazing emails I received last week from people who came to my recent gigs. I can’t thank them enough for writing and giving me such encouragement to keep going when the going gets tough…

“It was an absolute privilege to be able to be there, I could feel the music and your voice vibrating through me, it was so moving and poignant I had to fight back tears through most of the concert. I’ll keep an eye on your website and look out for more concerts and buy some downloads.”

“It was a joy and a privilege to hear you on Friday and to listen to how your songs and words have brought hope, joy and peace to so many individuals. Emily’s first two gigs with violinist Sue Lord are both sold out.  Tickets are still available for their matinee show at Green Note in London (11 April), Letcombe Bassett Village Hall (18 April) and other upcoming dates.  Details of all Emily’s gigs with Sue and her solo shows (with Jody Prewett as support) are on her gigs page.

Following Cambridge Folk Club on Friday night, Emily and Jody Prewett performed at The Drawing Room in Chesham last night and the gig was live-streamed on YouTube.  Click here to watch it (scroll to 1:08:30 to watch Emily’s set).

Emily’s upcoming gigs at The Small Space in Barry, the Dog & Fox Inn in Bradford on Avon and London’s Green Note, all with violinist Sue Lord, are all on sale – ticket links can be found on her gigs page.  You can also book for her tour dates with Jody Prewett at Sandy Hill Arts in Corfe Castle and at the Red Lion Folk Club in Birmingham.

Tickets are now on sale for my next gig which will be at Cambridge Folk Club on Friday 20 February.  You can book your place here.  This is a hometown gig for me!  The next night I’m playing a last minute show at the very intimate and quirky Drawing Room in Chesham – tickets are now on sale here.

Emily played her last gig of 2025 in Cricklade near Swindon last week.  Thanks to everyone who came to see her and to Seán Devine and Nigel Wynne for hosting a wonderful night.
